As a result of continued growth, we have an immediate need for an Account Executive to join our sales team in our Baltimore market.

The Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) industry continues to expand as businesses turn their technology needs to a more fiscally sound, secure and flexible solution.

The Account Executive is responsible for prospecting, building relationships and closing sales. The Account Executive will partner with the other members of the team including business development and solutions architects to sustain a superior experience for the customer and success as an individual contributor as well as a member of the team. We are looking for someone with strong solutions-based sales experience in the technical/technology arena.  


  • Partner with the business development team to prospect and develop strategic plans of action for building new business
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals and presentations on Expedient solutions and products
  • Host and attend networking events, lunch n' learn events, data center tours, etc.
  • Determine and understand the needs of the client and, with the Solutions Architect, build a solution(s) around those individual client needs
  • Close new business to meet sales volume quota/sales expectations


  • No less than 2 years of successful solutions-based, business to business selling with the ability to produce examples of those successful sales
  • High energy with a strong understanding of customer service and integrity
  • Must be able to demonstrate solutions-based sales process
  • Experience with and general understanding of current technology
  • Ability to quickly learn complex concepts related to technology, infrastructure, various platforms and applications
  • Self-starter; ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and follow-through
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill
  • This position requires some local travel by car and occasional travel to other market cities
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen & verification of employment

Account Executives receive initial and on-going training on our products and services - this is a fast-paced role and will require a self-motivated professional, capable of and willing to learn through self-study.
